The City Builder Score rates cities from 0 to 100 based on four factors:
- Builder Diversity (35 pts) - How many major builders are active. Multiple builders independently validating a market is a strong demand signal.
- Community Density (30 pts) - Total number of active communities. More communities means sustained builder commitment, not a one-off project.
- Price Health (20 pts) - Whether pricing falls in a healthy range that supports strong market demand and land values.
- Market Depth (15 pts) - Communities per builder ratio. Higher depth means builders are doubling down, not just testing the waters.
Score ranges: 80-100 (Excellent), 65-79 (Strong), 50-64 (Moderate), 35-49 (Low), 0-34 (Minimal)
